Privacy Policy for Tools and Trainers

Last Updated: July 30, 2026

Tools and Trainers respects your privacy. We do not provide user accounts, use Google Analytics, display targeted advertising, or use cookies for analytics or cross-site tracking. This Privacy Policy explains the limited ways in which information may be stored or processed when you use our website.

1. Local Browser Storage

Some tools use local browser storage, such as localStorage, to save your work, settings, or progress so that you can continue later. This information remains in your browser on your device and is not sent to our servers as part of this saving feature.

We may also save a simple preference indicating that you have dismissed our privacy notice. Local browser data remains until you remove it, clear your browser data, or the relevant tool replaces it. Clearing local browser storage may delete saved work and reset site preferences.

2. Aggregate Page-View Statistics

To understand which pages are used most often, we maintain a simple aggregate page-view counter. When a page is opened, a fixed page identifier or page title is sent to our server and the total count for that page is increased.

The page-view database is designed to store only the page identifier and its aggregate count. It does not assign unique visitor identifiers, create visitor profiles, store individual browsing histories, or track visitors across websites. We do not intentionally store IP addresses, location data, device information, referral sources, or browser details in this page-view database.

The counter measures total page views rather than unique visitors. Reloading or revisiting a page may therefore increase the count again.

3. Cookies

We do not currently use cookies for analytics, advertising, user accounts, or cross-site tracking. Local browser storage used by certain tools is not a cookie, but it is described above because it stores information on your device.

4. Technical and Security Logs

Like most websites, our server and hosting provider may automatically process and record limited technical information when a page or file is requested. This may include an IP address, request date and time, requested resource, browser or user-agent information, and server response details.

These technical logs may be used for website delivery, security, detecting abuse, troubleshooting, and maintaining reliable operation. We do not routinely use them to create visitor profiles or for individual audience analysis. They may be reviewed when necessary to investigate a security issue, technical failure, misuse, or legal requirement. Retention is determined by our server configuration, hosting provider settings, and applicable security or legal needs.

Our website is hosted by Hostinger, which may process technical data in accordance with its own privacy practices. View Hostinger's Privacy Policy.

5. Google Fonts

This website may load typefaces through the Google Fonts Web API. When your browser requests these font files, Google may receive technical request information such as your IP address, the requested URL, browser and operating-system information, and the referring page. Google states that the Google Fonts Web API does not set or log cookies and does not use this information to create end-user profiles or serve targeted advertising.

You can learn more in Google Fonts' privacy information.

6. Contacting Us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information only to read, manage, and respond to your enquiry, and to keep records where reasonably necessary.

7. Sharing and Selling Information

We do not sell personal information. Limited technical information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to host and deliver the website, such as our hosting provider and the font service described above.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can remove locally saved tool data through your browser's site-data or storage settings. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights relating to personal information processed through technical logs or direct communications, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection.

To make a privacy-related request, contact us using the email address below. We may need enough information to understand and respond to your request.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, technology, or privacy practices change. The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.
