Privacy Policy for Tools & Trainers

Last Updated: August 21, 2026

Tools & Trainers respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the limited information that may be stored or processed when you visit toolsandtrainers.com and use its tools, trainers, articles, and other features (the "Website").

Tools & Trainers does not provide user accounts and does not maintain user profiles or individual browsing histories. Information entered into our browser-based tools is not intentionally stored on our servers unless a particular feature expressly states otherwise.

We do not currently use Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics services to create individual visitor profiles, and we do not intentionally track visitors across unrelated websites.

1. Information Entered Into Tools and Trainers

Some tools and trainers allow you to enter text, tasks, durations, settings, or other information. Unless a particular feature expressly states otherwise, this information is processed locally within your browser and is not intentionally transmitted to or stored by Tools & Trainers.

Tools & Trainers does not provide a user account or cloud storage system for this information.

2. Local Browser Storage

Some Website features use browser storage technologies such as localStorage to save information needed for those features to work or to preserve their state between visits.

This may include settings, preferences, todo items, timer information, trainer progress, application state, or similar information.

Information saved through localStorage remains in your browser on your device. The contents of this local storage are not intentionally sent to our servers as part of the local-storage functionality.

You can remove locally stored information through your browser's settings. Clearing browser data, using private browsing, changing browsers or devices, or certain browser settings may also remove this information.

Because this information is stored locally on your device rather than in an account operated by Tools & Trainers, we cannot recover it if it is deleted or lost.

3. Aggregate Page-View Statistics

Tools & Trainers uses a simple first-party page-view measurement system to understand how often different pages of the Website are viewed.

When certain pages are viewed, the Website may send a page identifier and a general traffic-source category to our server so that aggregate Website statistics can be updated.

The statistics database stores totals associated with Website pages and traffic-source categories. These statistics are not stored on a per-user basis.

The page-view system is not designed to assign unique visitor identifiers, maintain individual browsing histories, recognize a visitor across different sessions or devices, or create personal visitor profiles.

We do not intentionally store names, email addresses, user account information, IP addresses, or other direct visitor identifiers in the page-view statistics database.

Page-view counts measure page visits rather than unique people. Reloading or revisiting a page may therefore increase a page's total count more than once.

Aggregate statistics may be retained for historical comparison and to help us understand which parts of the Website are being used.

4. Server and Security Logs

Tools & Trainers is hosted using Hostinger services. Like most websites, the hosting environment and web-server software may automatically generate technical access or security logs when a page, file, or other Website resource is requested.

Depending on the server and hosting configuration, these logs may contain technical information such as an IP address, request date and time, requested resource, browser or user-agent information, referring information, and server response details.

These technical logs are separate from the aggregate page-view statistics described above.

Tools & Trainers does not routinely use these logs to identify individual visitors, build visitor profiles, analyze individual browsing behavior, or associate Website activity with a particular person.

Logs may be reviewed when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected attacks, malicious activity, abuse, security incidents, unusual server activity, technical problems, or other circumstances affecting the security or proper operation of the Website.

Technical information may also be accessed or disclosed where required by applicable law or a valid legal request.

The availability and retention of server logs may depend on Hostinger's services, server configuration, security requirements, and operational needs.

More information about Hostinger's own privacy practices is available in Hostinger's Privacy Policy .

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Tools & Trainers does not currently use cookies for user accounts, behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics.

Certain Website features may use localStorage or similar browser storage as described above. LocalStorage is technically different from a cookie, but it can also allow information to remain on your device between visits.

If our use of cookies, analytics, advertising, or similar technologies changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.

6. Google Fonts

The Website currently uses Google Fonts to provide certain typefaces. When you visit a page that uses these fonts, your browser may contact Google's servers directly to request the relevant stylesheet and font files.

As with other internet requests, Google may receive technical information necessary to process and deliver the request, such as the requesting IP address and browser-related request information.

This processing is performed by Google independently of the Tools & Trainers page-view statistics system.

For more information, please see Google Fonts' privacy information .

7. Email Communications

The Website does not require you to submit personal information through a registration or account system.

If you voluntarily contact us by email, we will receive the email address from which you contact us, the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to include.

This information may be used to read and respond to your message, handle your request, maintain necessary correspondence, investigate security or abuse issues, or address legal matters where appropriate.

Please avoid including sensitive or confidential personal information in an email unless it is necessary for your request.

8. How Technical Information May Be Used

Technical information generated as part of operating the Website may be used only where reasonably necessary for purposes such as:

We do not intentionally use technical server information to create advertising or marketing profiles about individual visitors.

9. Sharing of Information

Tools & Trainers does not sell personal information, individual browsing histories, or visitor profiles.

Limited technical information may nevertheless be processed by service providers that are necessary for the Website to operate. These may include:

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, a valid request from a competent authority, or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or protect legal rights.

10. International Services

Some service providers used by the Website may operate infrastructure in different countries. As a result, technical information associated with services such as hosting, externally loaded resources, or email may be processed outside the country from which you access the Website.

Such processing is subject to the applicable privacy and data-protection requirements governing the relevant service and circumstances.

11. Data Retention

Tools & Trainers does not maintain a database of user accounts, individual visitor profiles, or individual browsing histories.

Aggregate page-view statistics may be retained for historical Website statistics because they represent totals associated with Website pages rather than individual visitor records.

Information stored through localStorage remains on your own device until it is deleted, replaced, or otherwise removed by you or your browser.

Server and security logs may remain available for periods determined by the hosting environment, server configuration, security needs, and applicable requirements.

Email correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the relevant communication and any related administrative, security, or legal matter.

12. Security

We take reasonable steps to maintain the security and proper operation of the Website and may use technical server information when necessary to detect or investigate security threats, abuse, or technical problems.

However, no website, server, network, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Tools & Trainers therefore cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted through internet infrastructure or processed by third-party services.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to you, you may have certain rights regarding personal information relating to you. These may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other actions provided by applicable law.

Because Tools & Trainers does not maintain user accounts or an individual visitor analytics database, in many cases we may not possess information that allows us to identify a particular visitor from a privacy-related request alone.

If you contact us regarding information that may relate to you, we may request information reasonably necessary to understand your request and, where appropriate, verify that the request concerns you.

14. Children

Tools & Trainers does not provide user accounts and does not intentionally request children to provide personal information in order to access the Website's generally available tools, trainers, or articles.

If we become aware that personal information has been provided in a manner that requires deletion or other action under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps where reasonably possible.

15. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. When you follow an external link, you may leave Tools & Trainers and interact directly with another website or service.

Tools & Trainers does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites. Their collection and use of information is governed by their own privacy policies and practices.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Website, its features, hosting arrangements, technologies, or privacy practices change.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when this Privacy Policy is updated.

If we introduce features that materially change how information is handled, such as user accounts, cloud-based user storage, advertising technologies, or additional analytics services, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.
